Shelton House Wedding & Events
Our historic Shelton House grounds include views of the beautiful, Charleston-style family farmhouse, surrounded by gardens and the early 20th century barn that provide an inviting venue for weddings, meetings and a wide variety of events.
The Shelton House Barn is a Pennsylvania Dutch Style Dairy Barn that W.T. Shelton had built in 1916. Originally, the barn was used to house milk cows and other livestock. The barn was later converted into meeting and display space for historical artifacts related to farming.
Southern hospitality meets rustic charm in this welcoming and laid back space. Ideal for intimate gatherings, the historic Shelton House promises happy get togethers that harken to a simpler time in this mountain Historic Site.
Picture yourself coming down a grand staircase to meet your loved one who will escort you to the love of your life. Stand under beautiful trees with a mountain view backdrop as you pledge to love the person standing next to you. Explore the beautiful gardens perfect for photographs of your wedding party. Relax on our wide veranda while sipping champagne and socializing with the people who mean the most to you.
The Shelton House offers all of those scenarios and many more, plus an updated barn with restrooms, a full kitchen, and tables and chairs for fifty. Inviting more than fifty to your special day?
