16 Simple Fall Date Ideas

There’s something about crisp smoky mountain air in the Fall that brings out the romance in us all. Whether it’s a first date or 50th wedding anniversary here are some ideas for the perfect date. Fall colors in the smoky mountains and along the Blue Ridge Parkway are like nothing you’ve seen before, so grab your date and get to Haywood County!

  1. But first, coffee.
    Or tea. Grab your trendy flannel scarf and enjoy a hot cup on Panacea’s outdoor deck by the creek.
  2. Romantic lakeside stroll.
    Soak in mountain views as you walk around Lake Junaluska on the 2.3 mile walking trail.

  11. See a Sunset on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
    Snuggle up at Caney Fork, Thunderstruck, Woolyback, or Waterrock overlooks to see stunning sunset.
  12. Sip wine and stoll galleries.
    You don’t have to be an art snob to enjoy October’s Art After Dark with complimentary wine and finger foods.
  13. Get lost in a corn maze.
