June 8-9 Cold Mountain Music Festival
This year’s 2018 lineup features Shovels & Rope, Mandolin Orange, River Whyless & The Steel Wheels, Jon Stickley Rio & the Broadcasts, and Jenny George Band. Camping will be available as well as a kids area, beer, and food vendors.
June 29 – July 1 Thunder in the Smokies
Every Spring, Summer, and Fall you can head to Maggie Valley for the largest motorcycle rally in the Great Smoky Mountains of NC. Bike games, bike shows, and nightly concerts are just a few of the reasons thousands come to each rally!
July 3-4 Independence Day Celebration
Don’t miss this year’s July 4th parade to show your American pride. The weekend also features a cookout, concert performances by Balsam Range, fireworks shot off at the lake and many more family friendly activities all weekend long.
July 7-8 Maggie Valley Summer Arts & Crafts Festival
Free event featuring local handmade arts & crafts with a variety of food vendors on site at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds.
July 19-29 Folkmoot Festival
This 2 week long festival bring cultures from around the world together for celebration of international folk, filled with dancing performances, live music demonstrations, theater acts, and interactive music and dancing experiences throughout WNC.
July 27-28 Hillbilly Jam
Grab your best pair of jorts or cowboy boots and head to this festival featuring live rockin’ music, TV moonshiner meet & greets, food vendors and a hillbilly good time.
Aug 31 – Sept 1 Smoky Mountain Folk Festival
Celebrating all things Appalachian this festival featuring clogging performances, dancing lessons, mountain music and more at the beautiful destination of Lake Junaluska.
Sept 2-3 Canton Labor Day Festival
Grab your lawn chair and head to Canton for the 2 day Labor Day festival featuring bluegrass, americana, and folk music. The festival takes place in the heart of downtown Canton and you’ll be walking distance to Bear Waters Brewery and other great shops and restaurants!
