It’s Fall Y’all Craft Show

Where: Smoky Mountain Event Center

Cruise on over to Canton for a peek at their fall craft show. This indoor event has free admission and free parking. Enjoy handmade items from over 35 vendors and test your luck with their hourly door prizes. Bring home some festive décor or a special gift that will give you the chills this cool season.

Icons of Hotrodding Festival

Date: October 1 & 2, 2021

Where: Maggie Valley Festival Grounds

Hosted by Kustom Kemps of America, this event is open to hotrodders who have an appreciation for the fabulous 1950’s and the swinging 60’s era of America. If you have a 1969 or older hot-rod, pickup, coupe, or sedan, this is your kind of festival. Enjoy swap meets, local vendors, games, concerts and so much more. This festival feels like a throwback in time—almost like you’re featured in your own episode of Happy Days.

Church Street Art & Craft Festival

Date: October 9, 2021

Where: Downtown Waynesville

For over 30 years, this event has become one of the finest juried art shows in Western, NC. Watch as Waynesville’s Main Street transforms into an arts & crafts marketplace for one day. What makes this show so special is it was designed specifically to provide a venue for local artisans to display their work. Enjoy handcrafted pottery, jewelry, photography, and fine art from the talented folks who call the Smokies their home. Food vendors will also be attending so you can treat your tastebuds to a show for themselves. Bring your whole family for this free “Main” event!

Apple Harvest Festival

Hailed as one of the best fall festivals in the country, the Apple Harvest Festival celebrates Haywood’s agricultural heritage and the autumn harvest. This event even had a visit from the Johnston family of the TLC show “7 Little Johnston’s.” Here you’ll get the chance to taste all things apple: apple pies, apple tarts, apple cider, apple doughnuts, apple jam…the appetizing apple adaptations are endless. You can also find music, dancing, arts & crafts, and plenty of family-friendly games. You’re guaranteed to have bushels of fun!

Smoky Mountain Bluegrass Festival

Date: October 23, 2021

Where: Maggie Valley Festival Grounds

Get those dancing shoes ready because the Smoky Mountain Bluegrass Festival is queuing up some boot stompin’ tunes. Listen to the Appalachian sounds of banjos, fiddles, and other Smoky Mountain instruments as they set the mood for an awesome afternoon. The featured lineup includes award-winning bluegrass band Balsam Range, the Kruger Brothers, and Unspoken Traditions. While you wander around the grounds, dig into local fare, and browse the unique array of artisan craft booths. Whether you are already a bluegrass lover or are looking to expand your music taste, you won’t want to miss this!

Maggie Valley Fall Arts & Crafts Show

Date: October 16 & 17, 2021

Where: Maggie Valley Festival Grounds

This event is the perfect way to celebrate the fall season in Maggie Valley. It’s the largest gathering of artisans and crafters from all over the Southeast and one of the longest running events in this town. Watch chainsaw art demonstrations , indulge in flavorful food from vendors, and shop for hand-made décor, bowls, furniture, and more. Christmas Elves Craft Show

Date: November 13, 2021

Where: Smoky Mountain Event Center

Around November, our mountain town begins to transform for the Christmas holidays, and Santa’s elves can attest. Ring in the season with our Christmas Elves Craft Show with a range or unique artisan selection to help you tackle your holiday shopping with ease. Browse locally made goods and join in on the silent auction to make finding the perfect gift even more exciting. After you’ve checked your Christmas list twice, grab some hot cocoa and head over to one of our Choose N’ Cut Christmas Tree Farms to complete your holiday traditions the Haywood way.
