Take in a holiday show, hit the slopes, or shop your way through a winter market. Check out our winter-ful lineup of upcoming festivities below.

Strand of Lights Drive Thru

Hop in your car with you whole family for a sensational night of shimmering light. Enjoy Haywood County’s very first Drive-Thru Christmas Light Show organized by The Strand at 38 Main. Tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Balsam Range Art of Music Festival

Enjoy Internationally acclaimed bluegrass band, Balsam Range at the Art of Music Festival. Guests will also experience concerts from some of the top bluegrass and acoustic musicians in the nation.

All Jeep Christmas Parade

Attention Jeep owners: make some history by taking part in Maggie Valley’s first annual all lighted all Jeep parade on December 4. Wrangle in the fun with your fellow Jeep owners and have a chance to win prizes. Line up starts at 5pm. The parade starts at 6pm at the Visitors Center.

Winter Wonderland Market

Get in some last-minute Christmas shopping at the Winter Wonderland Market. Browse locally made crafts, jewelry, home décor, and so much more. Plus, they will have food onsite while you shop around for the perfect gifts.

A Night Before Christmas

You won’t want to miss this holiday tradition. Immerse yourself into the holiday spirit with live music, twinkling lights, horse-drawn wagon rides, a visit from Santa Clause, and more. Downtown Waynesville truly comes to life with food, fun, and festive activities—after all, ‘Tis the season to be jolly!

Hart Theatre: Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some)

Who doesn’t love a Christmas story? Watch these Christmas classics come to life onstage at the HART Theatre in Waynesville. Perfect for all ages, you’ll leave feeling all merry and bright.
