Cataloochee Valley, nestled in a remote section of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, neighbors Maggie Valley and it’s here where elk have been reintroduced in hopes of increasing the population. Thousands of people visit yearly to catch a glimpse or sometimes an up-close view of these beautiful creatures. If you visit, the best times to spot elk are sunrise and sunset.

A classic game of skill and luck, putt-putt is enjoyable for family members of all ages. We have several fun putt-putt courses in Maggie, including Fantasy Golf & Game Room and Maggie Valley Carpet Golf. Cataloochee Ranch

If one truly desires a relaxing day in the Smoky Mountains, take the family to Cataloochee Ranch. Hidden amongst gorgeous peaks and valleys, the ranch offers horseback riding, hiking trails, wagon rides, bird watching and more. Wheels Through Time

You may have seen Wheels Through Time highlighted on the Travel Channel or History Channel. Folks come from miles around to visit this well-known motorcycle museum. Breakout rooms or puzzle rooms have become very popular over the past couple of years. We’re proud to have our very own Puzzle Room here in The Valley. Each room offers a themed adventure game involving puzzles that must be solved in order to leave the room. The team has 60 minutes to complete all clues and exit the room. One hour sounds like a long time until the pressure mounts and the team has to work together quickly to accomplish their task.
