Pull out everything green that you own and gear up for Saint Patrick’s Day (March 17th). Whether you’re Irish 365 days a year or only on Saint Patrick’s Day, there are plenty of events for you to celebrate the holiday to avoid being green with envy.
3/16 Luck of the Arts
Check out all Downtown Waynesville has to offer while strolling through the gallery’s 140+ primarily regional artists, enjoying piano music by Dianne Wolf and delighting in some St. Patrick’s green hors d’eurves. Don’t forget to enter the POT of GOLD drawing and you might win two one-day passes to the Biltmore!
3/16 St. Patty’s Day Party ft. Old Dirty Bathtub
Head over to Boojum Brewing Company in Waynesville for a lively night of Americana Bluegrass tunes and the tasty suds of Boojum Brews. Green encouraged, luck desired, having fun is what’s required!
3/16 Luck O’the Irish Raffle
See if you have the luck of the Irish at Bearwaters Brewing in Canton for a chance to win $1,000, or come hang out for some Saint Patty’s Day fun. Proceeds benefit Folkmoot’s year-round programming initiatives and you can get more information here.
3/17 St. Patrick’s Day Golf Tournament
What better was to spend St. Patrick’s Day than out on the green! Check out the Lake Junaluska Golf Course for a special golf tournament of 3 person scramble.

Hunt for some four-leaf clovers as you explore some of the great hiking trails in Haywood County! Have a warmer weather excursion to Mouse Creek Falls or Little Cataloochee Church Trail.
