Summer may be coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean all the fun has to stop! Make sure you take time for yourself to unWINEd before the cool air hits. One of the best ways to do so is by checking our 5 Haywood wineries and wine shops!

BOSU’S WINE SHOP

Bosu’s Wine Shop & Secret Wine Bar is located in the heart of historic Downtown Waynesville, NC. Like the south itself, Bosu’s is an exercise in contradiction. The shop is at once laid back and full of energy. From award-winning small production wines, to unique brewery favorites, you’ll find something for every palate and budget. For more than 20 years, Bosu’s has been selling the most versatile, well-vetted offerings designed to please both the novice and the expert wine drinker. Also enjoy Flights & Bites on the weekends or make a reservation to attend one of their monthly wine dinners.

THE CLASSIC WINESELLER

The Classic Wineseller’s retail wine and cigar shop is housed in an underground cellar. Their cozy space is home to a host of special events including live music, educational classes, wine and winemaker dinners and tastings, and other creative happenings. Located on Church Street just around the corner from Main Street in Downtown Waynesville, the Classic Wineseller features over 1,200 wine selections among more than 14,000 bottles. They specialize in hard-to-find wines including many older vintages that have been collected and stored under optimum conditions during their twenty-six years in business. 

LIFT YOUR SPIRITS

Lift Your Spirits is a new kind of shopping experience located in Waynesville’s Hazelwood neighborhood. Have a glass of wine while catching up with friends or shop around while your husband has a beer. Fully stocked with some of the coolest cards, gifts, and yummiest snacks around! Did we mention: they’ll even gift wrap anything and mail a card for free.

B & C WINERY

Utilizing vineyards from around the world (California, Australia, Washington, Italy, Chile, Argentina), B & C Winery takes the juices and skins, along with the fresh mountain spring water and creates all their delicious wines. The owners want folks to have an enjoyable memory of the mountains when they sip on their wines. B & C Winery is the one and only winery in Haywood County, so make sure to take a bottle home with you to remember your trip by.

VALLEY CIGAR & WINE

Valley Cigar and Wine Company, off of Dellwood Rd. in Maggie Valley, features a large deck, making it the perfect spot to relax over. a glass of wine. In addition to wine and cigars, the shop also will sell locally crafted goods from places like Cold Mountain Toffee and Hazelwood Soap Company.
