2018 Art of Music Festival

The 2018 Balsam Range Art of Music Festival has been expanded to three days to include more workshops, more dancing, and more live bluegrass!

AOM kicks off Thursday, November 29 with two different shows to choose from:

  • Bluegrass legend Terry Baucom’s Dukes of Drive will grace the Colonial Theatre in Canton at 7:00 pm, with special appearances by Caleb Smith and Tim Surrett of Balsam Range! This special performance is an exceptionally fitting kickoff for a weekend full of bluegrass appreciation.

— OR —

  • Head to the Folkmoot Center in Waynesville at 6:00 pm to hear Monogram, a bluegrass band hailing from Prague, Czech Republic. Named the European “Bluegrass Band of the Year,” Monogram is a very exciting addition to the Art of Music Festival. Also included with your show ticket is an authentic Czech meal!

If the Art of Music Festival sounds like the place you want to be, make sure you buy your tickets soon! For lodging packages, daily breakdowns, and performance lineups, check out our blog!
