The Swag’s sweeping vistas and warm hospitality are rooted in the soul of the Great Smoky Mountains. Founded in 1982, The Swag joined Relais and Châteaux in 2020 with 18 rooms and an award-winning restaurant. Perched almost a mile above sea level, our secluded 250-acre mountaintop grounds are located just 40 minutes west of Asheville, but a world away from your day-to-day.
